We at Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery would like to take the time to inform you, our patients, on the protocols that we have implemented to keep you, your loved ones, and our staff safe during the reopening of our offices for patient care during this unprecedented time.
We appreciate your patience with our staff as we work diligently to schedule and treat everyone in an organized, professional manner all while doing our best to follow social distancing recommendations put forth by the CDC. We request that all patients and any companion wear facemasks when in our office.
This is what we would like you to know and expect regarding your upcoming appointment with us:
- You will be asked multiple screening questions related to COVID-19 and be asked to sign a form acknowledging your responses. Please take the time to answer them honestly, as everyone’s safety depends on it.
- Just as you will be screened, our entire staff will be screened daily upon entry to the office.
- We ask that you help us by completing all available forms online prior to your appointment. This includes health history, a COVID-19 screening form, and insurance information.
- To promote social distancing, we will be limiting the number of family members, guardians, escorts to one per patient. This person will be asked to return to their vehicle to wait until the procedure is completed. They will then be called back by a staff member to review postoperative instructions.
Lastly, we want you to know that we have and will continue to take office disinfection and instrument sterilization very seriously. Guidelines will be followed to ensure everyone’s safety. Some examples are proper personal protective equipment worn by staff and doctors and complete room disinfection between each patient visit.
Thank you for your trust in us. We look forward to taking care of you.
